...ich fange immer mit dem Hintergrund an. Momentan sprechen mich die Farben der ersten 3 Tagesbilder sehr an. Wenn der Hintergrund so geworden ist, wie ich ihn haben möchte, warte ich bis die Figur mir "erscheint". Vorher weiß ich nie, wie das Bild aussehen wird. Momentan spielen die Frauenfigur, der Goldfisch im Beutel und der Kanarienvogel eine Rolle, aber das kann sich jederzeit ändern.

....I always start with the background. At the moment I am drawn to the colors I have used in the previous three dailys. When the background is the way I like it, then I wait until the figure "appears". I never know beforehand, what the painting is going to look like. Right now the female figure, the goldfish in a bag and the canary play a role, but that could change anytime.
